Will sports massage help me?

Whatever your age, activity level, health condition or occupation, regular targeted massage will be hugely beneficial.

Sports Massage is a manual therapy, working deep into the muscles and surrounding soft tissues. It can be used pre and post performance, during training and for rehabilitation but you DO NOT need to be an be an athlete to reap the benefits of a good Sports Massage. Dysfunction of muscles due to overuse, underuse, poor posture, repetitive strain, poor foot balance to name just a few all have an impact on our body.

  • Do you work at a desk all day and get sore shoulders and neck?

  • Have you started running or going to the gym and your knees and hips have become painful?

  • Have you been gardening and now have sore elbows?

There are many causes of muscle and joint pain, please get in touch to see if I can help and if I can't I will make sure you are referred to the right people.

Benefits of Sports Massage

Equine Sports Massage

Equine Sports Massage is a hands‑on therapeutic approach that uses a variety of specialised techniques to improve a horse’s physical comfort, movement, and overall wellbeing. Through targeted soft‑tissue work, it helps increase circulation, release trigger points, ease muscle tension, enhance muscle tone, and improve range of motion in horses and ponies of all types and disciplines.

The techniques used in equine sports massage work on both the superficial and deep muscle layers, as well as the fascia and nervous system. By influencing these structures, massage supports healthier biomechanics, encourages more balanced movement, and promotes long‑term physical welfare. Horses often carry tension silently, and regular massage helps identify and address these issues early, supporting soundness, comfort, and performance.
